Service Description
This course is designed to provide the student with the skills and knowledge required to perform basic vehicle and machinery rescue operations utilizing appropriate equipment, methodologies, protocols, and patient and resource management techniques. This course covers Chapter 5, 10.1 and 19.1 of NFPA 1006 and Chapters 4, 9.1-9.3, and 12.1-12.3 of NFPA 1670. Additionally, this course meets, or exceeds, the training requirements listed in Florida Urban Search and Rescue (FLUSAR) Program.
